J. Pauley Motorsports FRS One Lap of America Entry
Hi guys. We (J. Pauley Motorsports) are entered in next weeks 2016 One Lap of America with a RS 2.0 FR-S. The car is #43 of 1000. This is our first time participating in OLOA. Ron Pawley (dealership owner) is a very experienced road racer, winning his class at the 24HRS of Daytona in 1985, and campaigning a Lexus IS300 in the SCCA Majors the last 10 years or so. I've been doing some road racing/track days as well in an IS300 so we are hoping to be competitive. We are raising money for autism and could definitely use some pledges. We're asking for 1 cent per mile completed of the event (about $28). 100% of the donations go directly to Autism Speaks. Here's the link to our site where you can read the story.

Oh, I actually like that livery. Good luck on your endeavor!

That livery is awesome. What else has been done to the car?

Since this is our first time to participate in OLOA, we decided to run the stock class. That means only brake pads and tires are open. We've got Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Specs in 225/45ZR17 and Carbotech XP10 front pads and XP8 in the rear.

I took my dad to see One Lap roll through Hallett about a decade ago. He got to meet Brock Yates, which excited him. I remember a lot of creative cars, and many tired souls catching a nap on whatever uncomfortable bench or table they found.
Earlier that day they also did a lap of a local dirt track, which made for some funny photos. A BMW 5-series shattered its rear window from chassis flex. |
