High Pitched Tone in Sixth Gear?

So I was driving down the freeway tonight and went over what seemed like a newly paved road. I figured now would be a great time to see how silent my car is with the TRD CAI. Rolled up my windows and turned off my music.

Everything was fine, pretty silent for such a light nimble "Race Car" but then a strange thing happened as I hit 3500 RPMs on the Sixth Gear. I started to hear this high pitched tone that seemed to come from the Engine. I couldn't really identify what it was and I've never heard anything like it before.

I did some testing while driving and found that as soon as I dropped below 3500 RPM the high pitched tone would go away. The instant I accelerated and went back up to 3500 it would come back. I was literally able to turn it on and off by removing my foot off the gas. I guarantee you I wouldn't have been able to hear it without the sound tube delete and freshly paved road.

Is this normal or should I be making a stop at a Toyota Dealership before my warranty ends? :eyebulge:

Whatever it is, it could end up becoming worse later on. Get it checked at the dealership before warranty ends otherwise you're car will be an expensive garage size paper weight.

Mine's had that on the last 3 short shifters I've owned. It's a high pitch tone but it's apparent in every gear so I just assumed that it was just NVH from the SS.
