beat sonic roof spoiler painting help
I am in need of greater creative minds on this forum than mine. A while back I purchased an unpainted roof spoiler for my frs. I am in the Atlanta area. I took it to one painter he kept it a month and could not to the job. I now have it at another painter, who does excellent work. He calls me today after 3 weeks and says he is having a difficult time trying how to figure out a way to actually paint it. there is no way to hold it up or suspend it. I didn't think of that when I purchased a non painted one. I need some help on an idea to be able to suspend or hold the unit up so as we can get it painted its flat on both sides so I really cant think of a way to get it done. I am just trying to help my painter out as I want it to be as perfect as I can. Thanks in advance for some helpful ideas. Best regards Steve

Really... Sounds like you're taking it to the wrong places.
One part of it won't get seen ever. Have him attach a coat hanger to that part and spray away. |
Paint the bottom. Let it dry. Flip it over and paint the top.

What the hell? I bought a Stillen roof spoiler and the paint shop around the corner from me had it done in a few days, no questions. Can't be that difficult...

Thanks gents for the help. Painting one side then flipping was what I was thinking, then again you are correct. I don't know why he cant support it from the underside that you wont see and paint away. Oh well In the ATL you would think it would be easy. regards Steve

i bet he just didn't want to clean his spray gun twice and wanted to paint it all in one shot.
