Need help baking headlights/taillights
Is there a shop or someone who can bake and black out all the chrome parts from headlights/taillights?
I am not sure if I want to do this myself, and I was wondering if there is someone who does it professionally. Thanks! |
I recently got a quote from these guys FT, sound like they do headlights all the time. I'm feeling chicken about taking it on by myself as well.

Headlights are much easier to do than taillights.. You can't just simply bake open the taillights, you have to cut them open.
|
headlights are easy, tail lights not so much like @MisterSheep said.
el stig is a one man show, one dude doing the work and won't be able to work on your stuff right away. So save the cash and do it yourself. |
Headlights are a pretty easy DIY. Plenty of info on the board as to how to do them. Best to just buy a spare set, black those out, install, and then sell your stocks afterwards.

I am more interested in tail lights than the head lights.
Didn't know tail lights were harder than head lights. Does anyone have photos of blacked out BRZ headlights with blue car? |
