I was wondering if this or vented oem skid panel helps reducing "engine bay temp".

Is skid plate necessary im running without it cause i was lazy to install it after uel header?

It's not a problem until you hit something and take out your oil pan :iono:

See the whole in the skid plate? See the drain plug? It's attached to the oil pan. It's holds the life blood of your engine.

The "skid plate" also helps cooling.

I dig that skid plate, mine has gotten a little roughed up over the years from wear and being taken on and off a bunch. Could you post up a link to it and the price comparisons vs oem?

Anyone here have any experience with this part or opinions on it? I like the idea of helping cool the engine bay with the issues this car has with engine bay temps. My concern is it will disrupt the airflow under the car and cause the front end to be more unstable at speed.

It probably helps but the Beatrush one looks hokey.

I dont know much about cars. Anyway guys i got the abm axleback and cnt racing headers uel catless and injen cai and really love the sound really deap and rumbly. Would you recomend to get a frontpipe if i already like how it sounds? Does it really give much performance? Any one which you would recomend for this setup?

If happy with the sound then leave it as is. The performance is not even measurable.

Ditch the injen and put the old intake back on and get a drop in or grimmspeed. Also the UEL + axleback combo is glorious. There is no reason to swap out the stock front pipe honestly, it really cuts down on the catless smell. I currently have the CNT uel and a more expensive nameless axleback and it's an awesome combo, no regrets and no performance loss. You drop a front pipe in and you risk introducing some drone if it's not a dual resonated type of some kind and you get more of the catless smell.
