Perrin Gurney Flap for Stock Spoilers!
This was posted on FB. Posting it here just in case there are those who aren't in that group. This was posted by Christina from Perrin.
"HEY KIDS! PERRIN needs 2 or 3 light colored BRZs with the factory spoiler. We want to install the upcoming gurney flap on your car and get some marketing photos taken. The part and install will both be free! We'll just need your car here, and CLEAN, for a day in the next couple weeks. We are in Hillsboro, OR. Email me directly at Christina.Barlow@perrinperformance.com Let me know if you're interested!" :thanks |

I emailed her as well. Thanks for the heads up.

I was thinking of doing this but have had the Subaru STI Gurney flap on my OEM BRZ limited spoiler for nearly three years (along with a diffuser, splitter and all the JDM underbody panels). Any advantage to the Perrin brand? Any airflow tests? Downforce tests (as Subaru conducted on theirs)? Are you just taking pictures or conducting functional tests?

shit, I'm way down here in socal.
Got to see a sneak peak of it today when I stopped by...looks good, mounts to the OEM Brz Spoiler and fills in the gap between the two sticking up pieces
Did anyone get on this list?
Damn I wanna see this. STI flap is nice but pricey... I hope the Perrin one is more reasonable
No email for me so they must not want to try it on a red car. ;(
I'm on the list. My appointment is coming up.
Does anyone know what it looks like on the BRZ? And is this irreversible? (take off without any marks/damage)
