Top 10 mods

Hey people. I'm graduating college and thinking about buying a BRZ. I've never done any work on cars, but I'm looking to pick up a new hobby since a huge chunk of my time will be opening up. Can you guys offer any suggestions on what top 10 mods I should do if I get a BRZ?

it's when you stare at your seat for hours at a time and see if anything out of the ordinary happens. usually doesn't but every once in a while.....

Spending time in the seat, driving the car.

ETA: More seriously; if you buy the car, drive it around. A lot. Depending upon what you want to do with it you'll quickly learn what you like and don't like. Some people improve audio, others tires and suspension, others power. It all depends upon the driver's preferences. Drive it first before buying or doing anything.

1) Tires
2) brakes
3) brake fluid
4) camber bolts
5) performance alignment
6) drop-in air filter
7) Open Flash Tablet
8) Header
9) Track time with instructor
10) More track time on your own

honorable mentions;
Oil cooler
Adjustable coilovers
wider, lighter weight wheels
Rear lower control arms

Buy one.
Drive it stock.
See what you think.
THEN start thinking mods.

Does not matter what other people's shopping lists are.

1. Chrome rims preferably 22inch +
2. EBay body kit (don't paint it)
3. Lift kit or spring delete. Pick whatever you like
4. Muffler delete
5. Big wing. The bigger the better
6. Badge to gtr nismo badges
7. Plasti dip the whole car black
8. Big pod air filter
9. Engine paint bright green
10. 87 gasoline. Works better for cheaper. Trust me

^ This.

I took my time to get to know the car and tailor my driving to it. I then targeted areas that I felt would suit my tastes (lowered clutch pedal, swapped the clutch return spring, and dropped in a new filter).

Just exercise caution as what works for others may not work for you.

And that includes the tires.

Only provisor being, maybe changing brake fluid to something proper like RBF 660.

I can't believe nobody mentioned getting a turbo yet.
