I submitted a pic of my car and short blurb for the 'letters from readers' section of Subaru Drive Performance magazine and they picked it; much to my delight. :D

Yeah, that's what I always thought too - it was mostly WRX's and STi's. Glad to see us represented more.

i've been called worse, lol.

My legacy plates took a long time because I pre-ordered them before the program was a sure thing. if you remember, there were three possible plate options - black, yellow and blue. people had to send in their checks and when one choice met the minimum 7500 pre-order quantity, they'd start making them.

I sent in my check in oct 2013 and got my plates in august 2015. so, it was almost a 2-year wait for me.
