Strange woosh sound on some start ups
 

Hey guys I'm getting a weird kind of wind woosh sound coming from the engine when I accelerate it only happens sometimes when I start the car and drive if I turn off the engine and start it again and then drive it stops doing it anyone know if it's normal or what it can be

What mods do you have? I have the same issue, but Im thinking its an exhaust leak from when I swapped out my front pipe. I just havent had time to check.
This happens to me in the mornings or after the car has been sitting a while, and its probably because the metal has contracted. New gaskets will solve the problem if I find that it really is an exhaust leak, otherwise I dont really have a clue what it could be.

Also, does it happens while you drive? How long will the sound last? This only happens right when I turn on the engine

I don't have any mods cars completely stock but sounds like the same thing your getting happens when i havent driven the car in a while

Happens when I drive and lasts until I stop and start the engine again

You don't reckon it's the sound generator you're hearing ....... ??

Don't think it is it's not coming from the footwell and it over powers that sound I'll try get a video clip to post
