Matte Paint to match ultramarine?

Long story behind this, but I'm looking for a flat paint to match my frs' ultramarine. Any leads would be much appreciated.

You do realize that matte vs gloss has nothing to do with the color right?

Clearly I'm uneducated in this area. If I just got the paint code E8H will that do?

Matte is a finish. Gloss is a finish. Satin is a finish. They are all under the category of "clear". Instead of ruining your paint, you should consider doing a vinyl wrap or plastidip instead.

Yes, then matte clearcoat. The color will be the same but may look different in certain light due to the gloss v matte clearcoat.

Just sand all the clear coat off bro, it'll be sick!

For some needed clarification: the car got into a minor altercation with a tire wall at 60 mph. The repair estimate was $9k, so I opted to go the ghetto route and used the fine tools of a sledgehammer and bondo to, mostly, restore the body panels to their original condition. Luckily, the frame is still straight. There is still some warping through some of the body panels, so I'm looking to completely sand them and respray with a flat blue that would better hide body imperfections than the stock gloss blue.

What kind of tire does $9k worth of damage?

You don't seem too concerned about pride of ownership, so just paint it with a rattle can. If you really want to splurge you can hit it with some Plasti Dip - you seem like a classy guy, so go big or go home!
