Shift knob/center console squeaks

Soooo after doing some research.. i noticed they're a lot of squeaks that occur in the frs/brz. i have a frs where i think its the shift knob/center console that squeaks at a high tone whenever i go over bumpy roads or potholes. When i drive on flat smooth roads, the squeaking doesnt happen but once i go over something bumpy.. all hell breaks loose. i took off my center console and took it out for a spin but the squeaks became very hard to hear, yet they were still there. i re-installed my center console and took it for a spin right after and the squeaks came back. i noticed some people got squeaks in their ac dash but i am 100% positive it is coming from the shift knob. Also its kinda weird how once i took off my center console, the squeaks were hard to hear.. anyone else have this problem?

Yes, i have the same problem. It's not that bad at low revs but at 5k and above its really loud. I went to my local dealer so the mechanics could listen to it, and the are going to tear down the center console and try to find it under warranty next week(Thursday).

i believe the center console parts are moving and flexing against each other. since its plastic on plastic with no insulation it makes it super FULKJASLKDJALKSJDing annoying.

i thought about possible solution. take dash apart and then on EVERY contact point apply insulation....

the car drives amazing, interior is nice, but cmon Toyota.... cmoooooooon
