Burning smell

I get a burning smell from my engine when I drive the car hard. When I accelerate while getting onto the highway or just take off fast I can smell it. As soon as the rpm's drop the smell goes away instantly. I have a 2013 AT. Anyone have this issue?

When was the last time you changed your oil?
Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

I would say its the cam plate but you have an auto...

Oil was changed 2k miles ago. The car is stock except for a drop in K&N air filter.

Its normal for engines to smell when hot. No idea what exactly it is but its nothing to worry about.

I occasionally get that too after some spirited driving.
Goes away after a minute or so.
