HID KITS
Hey guys and girls, I know there's probably a post on this forum about HID but I was just wondering for those around me. What HID KIT you do run with as I have a kit from theretrofitsource and they aren't the brightest and what I want. I'm looking for a new pair to put in them to make my front lights uniform with my fogs.

Did you retrofit your housing or are you using the stock projector

55W HID's problem solved.

I have Diode Dynamics' HID kit. IMHO, 5k is the best; 6k being a bit too much.
http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...conversion-kit While people do recommend going full retrofit, I simply bent the metal "squirrel finder" tab inside the stock projectors to prevent blinding oncoming traffic. I haven't gotten any flashes or pulled over from law enforcement so far, been installed for almost 6 months now. |
