thought so, They can blame anything that happens on the gears.

yes anything that has to do with your drivetrain may be voided due to the change in the ratios of the gearing, if they can prove it.

yeah but the only thing they would check it for would be for tranny or engine failure. I wouldnt think anything else though.


If one of those goes out I change gears back before getting serviced.

How about you take responsibility for your actions and not try to abuse the system? If you want to modify your car then you should be willing to accept certain consequences. If you can't afford to have your car break down maybe you shouldn't modify it in the first place.

TBH FD gears wont hurt anything other then your fuel economy. If the gear goes no warranty, anything else you should be fine.
