Car Alarm W/ Push start button

Hey guys

What do you think will be a " fair " labor price for someone to install an car alarm with Push Start button?

don't wanna install myself because I don't wanna end up messing anything up.

the car alarm will come with a push start button for the car , the link is below

🤔🤔🤔🤔 Id say around $600~ in labor would be fair, anything over $1k and their taking you for a ride. It's a little more involved than something like a Viper alarm but if you or a buddy understand how relays work it could be a weekend project.

i have the same system in my car and i decided to try to do it myself... usually i'm pretty handy, but i think this was just beyond my capability. in any case i had half of it installed(the easy parts being the antennas) i brought it to a car audio/alarm place and their rate is 75/hr. i think if i were to have not done any of the install myself then they should have been able to get it done in 2-3 hours tops. the advanced keys system is essentially just an alarm system with a few extra features so any shop should be able to do it. optionally you can check their forums to see what shops they recommend. there are a few scattered around that have actually done it before so that might help you decide.

Looking at the kit, it doesn't appear to come with the panel the button would be placed in. Did you order an OEM piece separately for your install?

yeah i did mine awhile back before i think that site had the whole kit so i bought mine piece by piece. i also used a trd push button since the one it came with doesn't fit the oem trim piece and is just overall not as nice as the trd/stock one.
