Autox in Taylor AZ

There is going to be a two day event in Taylor, Aridzona this weekend (Taylor is in the high country near SnowFlake). I will be driving my monkey butt red FR-S. Autox is a great way to learn how your car handles. Taylor events are very relaxed and low key events.

Note: Fast food restaurants are with a mile or two if you want a quick lunch. Otherwise bring a cooler and be sure to bring water, it's still pretty warm in Northern Az in the summer. Also, no alcohol on site.
Second note: We will probably be running only two categories, stock and not-stock, so pick your usual category.
Now the event:
Typically around 20 runs over the weekend. We start late on Saturday morning and run all day. On Sunday, we are out early enough to be home by five or so, and that is with stopping to eat lunch.

It is a low key event. Since I am the director, I officially don't give a darn if people ride with each other. There are no trophies given. It is autoxing at its most elemental, driving a course quickly.
Since a lot of people stay in the vicinity (if not at the same hotel), there is a lot of hanging around on Friday and Saturday nights. I always like Taylor because I always get to know my autox buddies.
It will still be plenty warm in Taylor, probably in the 90s, but by then, the Phoenix area will scorching.
And, it's a big lot and most of the drive up there is pretty cool. Payson traffic blows, and there are speed traps past Payson, but a large part of the highway makes for fun driving. And by now, much of the construction should be done, and so it should be even smoother sailing.
