Weds wrapped in R888s. Baller status confirmed.

That looks awesome. Tires look like they stick so well.

Alignment?

I'll have to dig out the specs, but rear is -2*

Just an update on these tires:

They are LOUD! Lol but not a terrible sound, similar to an airplane-esque sound.
Handling: They're perfect. I have full confidence in whatever I'm doing
Water-They're okay in the rain, as long as I don't drive like a dingus. Awful in standing water.

Wrap arrived :)

New 5AD lip en route pending sale, I opted to replace the lip due to some inexperienced driving on a newly lowered FRS(doh!)

I've talked with Ben Taylor @ Redstart Racing in Lacey and they'll be installing the wrap.

I've also recently successfully swapped in a Subaru clutch slave cylinder (Ref: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77390), and I'm absolutely in love with the new feel of the clutch. -being unable to feel ~90% of my feet, it really helps me find the engagement point~

I've made the decision to go with the Full Race Motorsports EFR turbocharger kit. I have yet to decide on the size/specs for the turbo itself, I'll update soon with the decision I've come to. Debating on building the block with it at the same time. Does anyone have any recommendations for a local builder?

Quick update:

Got a hell of a steal on a SARD LSR Carbon Wing over the weekend. Very excited to have this on the car!

Picked up some odds and ends(wax remover, double sided 3M tape, etc) to help remove the body kit and remove any/all wax from the car prior to getting wrapped

**Forgot to add earlier in thread, added the 3" tomei catback a few months ago, not going to include pictures, because you all know what it looks like, lol**

Swung by Mark 2 Collision to have the paint on the lip redone(note all the huge rockchips in previous photos).

They did an absolute stellar job. Very cool atmosphere and down-to-earth people. I'll be taking my business there exclusively from now on. :) Check them out!

Finally put my suspension, wheels, and tires on over the weekend! What a difference!

First installed are the Stoptech slotted rotors and pads with SS lines; topped off with ATE 706202 Original TYP 200 DOT 4 Brake Fluid. Absolutely love how they feel now, with the Radium Engineering MC brace

Then I added the SCALE Suspension, I was a bit weary at first as they're fairly uncommon, but the quality is outstanding, installation was cake.

For wheels, I went with WedsSports SA-72R 18x9.5 +45 wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888 255/35/18

Installed all together, I think it looks pretty great!

Bold move going with R888 in Seattle! Is this car your daily? Proxes are not good in the wet..

It is my daily! Haha yeah the R888's definitely had a learning curve with Seattle weather. The only issue I've really run into is with standing water and snow; but nothing terrible has arisen so far.

I'm thinking of getting so Michelin PSS for when these are due for a change-out.

I'd highly recommend it! I run MPSS and they have been terrific. Excellent in the wet and dry, plus treadwear hasn't been too terrible. Glad you haven't had any bad experiences yet!

I've run the R888 before and you'll be lucky to get 12k miles out of them. They need a little heat before they really do their job. I'd recommend RE71-R, RE-11A, star Specs, or similar over the R888 for anything less than a track only car, especially if daily driving in super rainy Seattle. I've been through a couple sets of RE11 and they last around 50K give or take and nearly as awesome, plus more than track worthy.

These have lasted a few track days(nothing too extreme, just learning the new suspension setup). I'm currently at about 17k miles with them now. Probably will be switching them out within the month.

The R888's as a whole were more of something I felt I needed to do to give some sort of homage to the wheels.
