Conference clubs are racing clubs by nature but they do host Racing schools, TnT's and track days.

I was at the Oregon Region Porsche Club of America autocross yesterday. There were several BRZs and FRSs, both stock and modified. Excellent event, and I'll be going to more in future.

@Rio, where did you hear that this is the last year for non-Porsche vehicles? Asking because Porsche cars only made up about a third of the field yesterday.

Just curious is the Washington chapter considering that as well? I've been invited out to their events but never made it to one but I know they have always said all makes/models are allowed as long as you're invited.

That, I don't know. OR PCA events are actually run by non-porsche people. OR Porsche owners are taking it back.

Oregon Region SCCA Novice School was a blast and we had 2 new 86s in the mix. Tomorrow is event #2 at PIR and it's going to be a blast... if I get the car fixed in time LOL.

I'm there tomorrow!

The IRDC has a Driver's school cominng up at Pacific Raceways in Kent WA on May 13th. Yes, I do realize that's Friday the 13th, but what better day to terrorize a race track!

It's not just a driving school, it's also a racing school so it will cover some classroom education about racing, Flags and at the end of the day there will be a Mock race start. Those interested in jumping into racing and getting a racing license, this would be where you start.

Bumping this. The IRDC driving school this Friday still has a few slots open. The $295 School includes the instructor and this competition school gives you an opportunity to get your Novice license if you've want to start racing.

NWAA has an event at the Columbia regional airport in Dallesport, Wa. the 14th and 15th. lots of spots open on Saturday and a few for both days. Come on out its always a good time.

Know about them. Was going to promote for them but busy promoting for autocross instead. Reviews up here have been mixed... Be safe.

The Track Night event is the day before the SCCA Majors weekend. We will be there with the Jackson Racing STU class FR-S all weekend. If you guys get a chance, stop by our pit and say hello!
