The video here. Great insight for anybody interested in going this way and what to expect. They plan to do a OFT tune next

I liked how they went with a catted header for us that are environmentally conscious. I wonder how much the discount is.

A catless header would have gotten them another 5-7 whp. That's all good though if they're being environmentally conscious. The OFT tune will further improve responsiveness of their new hardware. It'll also allow them to run e85, but these guys don't sound like they'll do that. Still I think they'll love all the OFT features. It's a great value.

I personally feel that as long as one of the OEM cats are in place it's acceptable specifically the front pipe cat the power difference from the front pipe vs header is negligible anyway

They should of gotten a nameless or ACE header.

I really like the way the FT86SF catted header sounds. Good video.

These guys are about 3-4 years behind all of the other YouTube channels that have covered modding an 86. Not getting a tune or OFT with the header upgrade shows they still have a few basic things to learn.

It was mentioned at the end of the video.

Ehhh. It does get close to my tolerance level in terms of loudness. I don't know if I can live with that noise level everyday at highway speed. I really don't know.

JGalp 04-03-2016 06:47 PM

little loud for me
