Yes, I personally think the FRS bumper looks gorgeous in WRB.
Not that I have any issues with the BRZ bumper. I just like to be a unique cookie

It's looking like the cost is high for this conversion while being super difficult to even source the parts...
Plus I'll lose the STI lip :(

Why does it cost so much?

Well the bumper (non-OEM CPA) is 230 with shipping while OEM is 270.
Then you gotta get the foglight housing/bezels (60-70 for both)
OEM grill (30)
Turn light signals (60)
Sidemarker housing (don't even know the part number for this)
new lip (80)
and then paint (200-400)


costing me close to 600-700 bucks... I could get a big wing for that much!


But If I can find a bumper with all of this in tact at a reasonable price, it'll be worth it... I wouldn't even care if it was all scratched up since I'm painting it anyway

For the amount of things needed for the full conversion, that's a pretty fair price in my opinion. I'd go with the authentic OEM bumper, for what it's worth.

it's just one of those things where you sit and think "Do I want to spend 700 on this when I have a good bumper already, do I spend that on (insert mod here)?"

haha to me thats not bad, I was looking at one bumper, but its out of japan so with shipping it was 4k ... thats unpainted

I would buy a header with that money, but then again I'm in the master race minority who think the BRZ's mustachioed bumper looks good. :lol:

I think the BRZ bumper looks fine, I just like the allure of the not so many have this shit allure...

btw you need some clear side markers. I've got some BNIB's if you want :)
