Fortune Auto Rebuild Reviews?

Hey guys! so i got my fortune auto 500 back in 2013 when the car first came out. Being one of the early adopters its time to either get a new set of coils or rebuild my current set. I'm pretty sure i have Edition 4 meaning a rebuild is only $55 a corner.

I was just wondering if anyone here has had experience with their rebuilds, im worried if i send me set in, they tell me i have to get everything changed and eventually cost more than a new set.

(im assuming re-valving mean rebuild cuz they have to take apart the the whole coil to get to the shims inside) and in that case, its $100 a corner.)

I looked around the forums but couldn't find a thread.

TL: DR
anyone have experience with FA rebuild service? Turn around time?

Thanks guys!

Have you contacted them? It is cheaper to rebuild them unless you are planning to upgrade to something else.

Revalve means to change the actual valving. A rebuild they replace the shims and what not but leave the valving profile alone. Unless you need new dust boots or locking rings and your shaft is bent it will only cost $55. The turn around time is probably in the 2 week range if I has to guess. Give them a call?

Your best bet is to give them a call but the previous posters are correct there is substantial difference between a rebuild and re-valve with the rebuilds typically being significantly cheaper if you don't give them a completely trashed coilover.

turnaround time at this time of year is likely longer than 2 weeks. I just waited about a month for a replacement assembly. Keep that in mind when you are planning out your build
