Durability of powder coated shift knobs?

Looking to trying out the Anarchy Motive Titan shift knob in a powder coat but the warranty on the powder coat is 2 years. Looking at other powder coated shift knobs from other manufacturers, it seems there's a limited warranty on their coats as well (3 yr Raceseng, 1 year Moddiction).

Just curious what a peeling, cracking powder coat shift knob looks like. And if it 's a real bother with feel.

I don't wear a ring on my right hand and palm shift all the time so I'd like to think the powder coat would be safe but is it something that's bound to wear or only wears due to rough use?

Bumping this up again as I'm seriously close to picking up a powder coated shift knob but not wanting to throw more money away.

I've had a red powdercoated flossy knob for, going on, 4+yrs. Zero issues. I say go for it
