why did they drop the GT? So its just called an 86?

Maybe they changed the picture, but that's not an FT-1 on there now. That's the 2017 refresh for the Toyota 86.

Forget the Toyota 86, I'm more excited for the new 2017 Corolla. I mean just look at that new "daring new front end"!

It's called the Toyota 86 in Japan. It's called the GT86 in Europe.

New front end don't look "too" bad in that pic.

I would describe it more as fishious. The car looks like an angry, fat fish that sits on the bottom of the ocean eating whatever garbage floats down to it while cursing all the quicker, more attractive fish above it.

The worst part is that they are trying to make it look agressive, but not to much. "Fishious", but still like a pretty normal car. But with designs like that, one should either be VERY bold, or do nothing at all. Veloster Turbo was, in my opinion, a good example of the former, with that really exaggerated fish mouth. It was a hate it or love it design. The Corolla is hate it or meh.
