looking for UEL headers
 

Hello, in Southern california, looking for a quality brand url headers, preferably borla or tome. willing to spendn 4-500 for them please pm me.

You can get a new Gruppe-S in your price range and it's manufactured by the same company that makes the Tomei UEL.

I recently purchased this header and picked it up from Gruppe-S in Santa Ana.

Definitely get the gruppe s header. I was running it without the tune for and it made the power delivery more linear and definitely more torquey. I didn't feel the torque dip anymore after the header install without tune. Make sure you get the heat shield and if you have the extra cash get it cerakoted.

Did you get a cel?

Yes I did but it would go away after a 50-60 miles

Check out JDL if you want the highest quality uel header that has been proven to make the most power out of all the other uels.. Last I checked it was around $649.00 on their website

how many miles have you been running with no tune and the Gruppe-S?

Didn't really keep track. I think I ran without tune for approximately 1000 miles. I actually had the OFT before the header but I was just lazy lol.

think I'm going to go for the Gruppe S this week, thanks everyone for help and feedback!

Are any of these carb legal? I've never been able to find a clear answer.

Nothing before the OEM front pipe is CARB legal. CARB specifically disallows changes to any part of the exhaust system that may interfere with emissions equipment (Intakes, Header(+cat), Overpipe, Front Pipe)

Pretty much only Cat Backs are CARB legal.
