2016 Boxer Takeover
 

April 29-May 1st. Anyone else attending this event this year. I was there last year and it was a well run fun afternoon on the tail of the Dragon. Saw a lot of guys from the Atlanta area (86ers) Anyone?

I'll be there again this year.

I plan on going again this year.

Hey all, I'm originally from Boston, but I'm road tripping around the US, i'm planning to hit Tail tomorrow morning - any suggestions? Like where to start - currently I'm gonna map to Robbinsville, NC and take 129 until it exits and then continue on to Nashville TN.

I'd love to hear what anyone's got to say.

I actually just got back from the dragon tonight for the annual rotary rally/supra meet I go to every year so I wont be up there for the boxer takeover. if its your first time on roads like that just take it easy and enjoy the drive. and please stay in your lane. too many idiots cut the lanes and make it even more dangerous than it is. other than that have fun

you may look at running the cherohala skyway. it is awesome and is over a mile in elevation.
