Simulator during the Winter
My fellow 86r's,
I've got the chair the shifter and the wide screen, plus project cars and seriously hating the backend behavior, lose it so fast. Any one of you found a simulator that really captures the balance? I DD my GT-86 and and track it a couple times a year, buying those ad08r's for this season, just want to train over 160km/110 mph before I hit the track this summer especially hard turns and controlled power slides but the force feedback on project cars isn't quite living up to how my baby feels :-( I know it never will but at least learning the curves and knowing the entry speeds |
iRacing?

If you want the car to feel like the car, Asseto Corsa. A distant second would be iRacing, then pCars

Tips from those that have dialed the feeling on in a sim?

PCars and on PS4 so limited

What I really hate is the lack of road feedback, I'm sure it's all FFB setup so googling how to feel the apex in the wheel now but really just wanted your feedback on if you've found anything virtual that feels like a GT-86 "almost"

Thanks had that feeling but run only console

I also wrote some hotlapping software for AC. Seriously, that sim is as good as it gets for PC in my opinion. And they have our car :) |
Console :(. I know AC is releasing for console this year at some point.

Gotand Ring is my play pen getting ready for this summer.

I snowboard, it's like sliding down the slope or riding the edge, perfect curves and balance a feeling like your flowing, moving from sideways to hard edge curves. I want that feel in the sim because the 86 feels like that.

Well you guys get that so preaching to the choir
|
AC it is.

I have been playing Fallout 4 so am now fully prepared and understand the complete workings of the T60 power armour!
You can not learn how to drive a car from a video game (call it a "simulator" all you want) and please do not think you can. That can get you killed since the respawn in real life just seems to be broken. Have loads of fun by do not think for one second you are learning how the car handles. |
