Harness Choice

For those w/ rollbar or cage and running 6pt harness, what's your choice for passenger harness?

For driver harness I will go with 2" shoulder belt that's Hans specific, since only I will be driving the car.

For passenger, I'm consider a 3" Hans-friendly (not not required) harness, since people riding may not have a Hans?

Schroth.

IMO a must have is the cam with a T-bar attached to the sub straps.

Edit*
Maybe you don't care that much since you're asking about a passenger harness? In that case any sfi rated 6pt should suffice.

I think a lot of harnesses can be ordered Hans friendly now.

Thanks, my question is whether to have Hans-specific or Hans-friendly harness for passenger. I think I will go with the Hans-friendly version (3" shoulder belts) since not all passengers have Hans.

Interesting you mentioned T-bar for the 5/6th belts, I found these to be more comfortable

than this type:

Is the T-bar style in the second picture better, in which way?

I prefer the T-bar style because it keeps the sub straps closer to my inner thigh rather than running them right over my junk ala 5pt.. This probably depends a little on how the sub straps are mounted as well.

Sorry for going off track a bit.

No prob. I mainly want to see passenger harness choice people have. Maybe many folks here don't run passenger seat at all?

General rule is "Equal Restraints" however I can't say I have ever seen an instructor where a HANS in a students car.

My car is coming together as a hill climb car and has no passenger seat. No need.
