Like WTF is the day, month, and year?

is it March 4, 2001?
April 3, 2001?

dates should always be in the format off March 4, 2001

its only when they venture from day month year that gets confusing. But usually context of what year it actually is is enough to not be confused

If they put them in the same order all the time (day/month/year like 3/24/16) then there is never a problem. But some put the month first or in the middle and it gets confusing. But also you can usually figure out what is what since like 3/16/01 is either way expired or the year is in the middle

I believe English(us) standard is mostly mm-dd-yy or yyyy-mm-dd. English/french Canada is dd-mm-yy though. here a wiki list for you :) it's in French though but that shouldn't be an issue since it's still d-m-y(becomes a for année)
