X Games!
 

Hey all,

So the other day I was contacted via email by LA Car Guy/Subaru Pacific. Apparently I won a facebook contest with the prize being a pair of tickets to the X Games! Excited, I drove all the way to the dealership today in Hermosa Beach to pick up the tickets. The sales manager was very nice, and also gave me and my buddy free Subaru RallyCross T-shirts!

Unfortunately it wasn't tickets to the Skateboard Street deck, but I didn't mind, since I had never won any giveaway contest ever in my life haha!

Congrats on winning the contest!! Not sure what it has to do with the BRZ though :lol: Post it up in your local forum so people join that dealerships facebook page and give them a bit of credit to the locals. My .02.

Got "standing" tickets to the RallyCross. It was the first live car racing event I'd ever gone to. Really loud, lots of misfiring gunshot "pops" from the cars' exhausts, and lots of dirt and dust thrown at me cuz we stood near the corner jump haha. It was a very fun event, though we didn't stay for all the rounds because of the long delays in between each heat.

We left at what was about to be the beginning of the 3rd heat, and walked through X Fest and through the convention center to see the cosplayers haha.

Oh yea, also saw a silver FRS on our way out of the convention center's parking lot on Venice.

If it was me I would have stayed through the whole race event though. Man I wish there were more stuff like this over in Boston, so lame around here.
