Cleaning/detailing engine and interior

Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning the engine and the interior? I want to keep it really clean and shiny under the hood as well as keep the interior clean and in good condition. I picked up some original armor all spray for the interior surfaces this weekend and some meguiars tire spray (I forget exactly what it was called) for shining the tires and I will likely use it for the rubber hoses under the hood as well. Any recommendations for the engine block/other parts or anything interior is highly appreciated.

It is a 2016 Limited BRZ as a daily driver.

do not use armor all spray. it sucks and leaves a greasy residue.

Get some Einszett 1z cockpit premium spray. smells good and leaves 0 streaks

optimum brand of products is great... but it's not cheap

Shoot. What should I do with that armorall then? Does it have any use for me? And can I use that Einszett spray for all the surfaces? Such as the instrument cluster glass, the dash, the faux carbon fiber, the leather trim on the doors, the top face of the shift knob, the removable plastic cup holder, the steering wheel, the climate control knobs and switches?

Also, any recommendations for shining the rims? And what kind of wax/soap do you guys use to wash your cars?

you could use up the armorall you bought so you don't waste your money. but once you use Einszett, you'll notice a huge difference.

i use:
glass cleaner on glass
einszett on the dash and all knobs
einszett on top of the shift knob
leather cleaner on leather

pretty much use einszett on all plastics

Real good trick I use is rinse the engine, spray rubber/vinyl dressing on wet engine, walk away. Its that easy and make is shiny and nice. Here is a pic, ignore my gold foil I was testing if it worked (Does not work very well to reduce AIT if you are wondering) and has since been removed. This is a old photo, dam it looks so different without all the bracing and stuff lol!

You can probably try diluting the armor all interior spray.

I use Meguiars quik interior detailer spray to clean and use 303 aerospace protectant spray for plastics interior/exterior. Leather master foam cleaner for alcantara seats.

Throw the armor all in the trash. Seriously. Chalk it up as a loss. It sucks. And will give your interior a cheap artificial greasy shine. Like spraying tire shine on your dash.

@WiredBRZ ....... yep, like @SleepingPanda said ..... throw the Armor all in the trash.

A spotless engine bay is the sign of a sick mind ( @go_a_way1 :D)

I suggest you just vac the interior and what won't come up wash with warm soapy water then rinse.

Use Invisible glass on the glass.

Wash the outside (including wheels) with any good car washing soap.

Wax the car with any name brand auto wax.

Do all that about twice a year.

See how easy it is.

do you cover up the alternator and electrical components?

i know you don't have to for modern cars but i haven't cleaned my engine bay yet, and these cars seem to have a lot of exposed stuff lol

Does this method get rid of the corrosion all over the engine?
