Throwback: My first Toy
 

I got this a couple years out of high school (graduated in 1990). 1988 Toy, most mods were done when I got it and I changed a few things afterwards as well. Lowered all around and swaybars added, urethane bushings all around. The 22R had a Comp cam, dual Dellorto side drafts, MSD ignition, and a Thorley Tri-Y header, straight to a Supertrapp at the end. Yes, it was pretty fast. After a few years of abuse I rebuilt the whole thing due to the cam wearing out and sending metal to the bottom end...this really needed roller rockers for such a high cam. At the time, import performance parts were a whole different game and you made do with what was available. Still, a lot of fun! Gonna try to find the under the hood pics...
