About to lower my BRZ series blue, need input
 

Before starting, I have searched in regards this all over the forum/online.

Anyways, I’m about to lower my BRZ series blue. The main reason is to kill that ugly "wheel gap", however i do not have to compromise the handling of the car or any suspension performance that this car is already great at.
My two options are Eibach prokit lowering springs & RCE yellow lowering springs.

For Eibach Prokit
-1 Inch drop
-I read that this a progressive spring so the ride might be a bit rough?
-Not sure if this improves the handling of the car or makes it bad?

For RCE yellow springs:
-0.8inch drop (or 22mm)
-This springs have great reviews when used with the OEM shock/strut
-Based on what I have read this maintains the handling of the car and it improves handling performance.

TBH, im leaning more towards the RCE yellow, however is the 0.8 inch drop going to kill the wheel gap? That is the main reason why I want to lower the car without compromising handling.

I have try to look for BRZ with RCE yellow lowering springs, but can’t find a decent/clear quality picture. Keep in mind that i do not want to slam my car to the ground.

What do you guys think?

RCE Yellow springs from what I hear are a great and comfortable spring. Nice amount of drop with keeping oem-like feel.

RCE are the better choice here.

If you're sticking with a strut/spring combo the RCE's are the best way to go.

RCE Yellows. Wheels are Enkei NT03+M 17x7.5 +35 for reference.

I have 17 inch STI wheels, i think the 0.8 drop is close/similar to the 1 inch drop that the eibach offers. It would be good to see a before and after shot of the same angle of your car but i kind of get the idea with this picture.

The RCEs will be more "trackable," and they will be more predictable, but they lower the car less.

The Pro-kit is progressive, thus will be more comfortable, but they won't handle as predictably. However, you get moar low. Also, the TRD springs are the Eibach Pro-Kit, so there's that to interpret it as you wish.

I run neither. I went with Swift Spec Rs with Bilstein struts. I did not like the Swift Spec Rs on stock struts because I believe the car was unpredictable on the stock struts. There are at least 10 reviews on every spring available.

I will be going with the RCE yellow springs. RCE seems to do their hw pretty well, and besides lowering the car to make the wheel gap less noticeable, i will gain a bit more handling performance.

Just got installed the RCE yellow springs on my Series blue. Drop is mild, feels good, springs still needs to settle and take it to the mountain and see how it performs on twisty roads:

I'm interested to hear your feedback. I'm also looking for a lower ride height to kill that wheel gap, but i'm going full coilovers, not springs.
