Swift spring spec-r

Hey guys. I was curious on putting swift springs spec R on my car, I'm currently on TRD spring but I was curious if anyone has experiences with these? Would I need to change up my stock shocks and get cambers? I've done my research and they said I shouldn't but other opinion doesn't hurt.

Thanks

You'll get a harsher ride but the car will roll less.

I ran my Spec Rs on the stock shocks for about 2 days before I realized they were not nearly dampened well enough to deal with the spring rate increase. If you can't afford all new shocks, replace the rears first. The rear of the car is very unsettled on 2013 or 2014 shocks. The 2015 shocks aren't as bad, but it's life changing swapping in Bilsteins in the rear. I didn't feel like the fronts were needed to be swapped as much... But, only if you're on the stock sway bars. If you've upgraded the bars you've got to realize that the bar adds to effective spring rate, and ride quality will greatly suffer with the Spec Rs and stock struts in the front.

Those are my two cents. You can live with the stock shocks if you have stock bars, but it's far from livable for any more than a week or so. If you're going to do it, save your pennies and get Bilsteins at the same time.

This is the first car I've had that I actually am very happy with the stock suspension. That being said, I'm sure I'll tinker with it if I keep it long enough. I had a Spec-R/Bilstein setup on an Evo 9. Loved it. The ride quality actually improved a bunch over stock springs/stock KYB dampers. I personally think the ride quality over bumps in the BRZ is ok, but I see some room for improvement for sure. If I get around to it I definitely will get Bilsteins and probably Spec-R springs.
