it the knock correction timing avaliable to the ecu at a given rpm\load, its not knock |
Awesome bookmarked all those links... Lol. I'm actually messing around with timing and vvt angles.
if you don't mind, I'd like to pick your brain for a minute My mods are a JDL UEL header, Perrin 2.5 CB I'm using shivs oft base map stg 2 w/ his adjustments to vvt exhaust angle to accommodate the JDL UEL header. LTFT at WOT are .78, I do not think I should mess with MAF scaling and commanded A/F is pretty damn close to actual AFR at WOT right now. I am trying to create a full out race tune for the most throttle response, power, all while maintaining safety of course. I understand the basics to logging and tuning. I can get around rom raider just fine, but I'm looking for a straight forward answer here. My question to you Steve99, what table(s) should I start looking at to extract more throttle response, power, driveability, and of course more fun to the fa20 to give it a more race car like feel to it? Thank you. |

id suggest you read @Wayno 's threads on dialling in your tune so it runs as close as possible to how tuner intended. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83945 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94822 its possible to mess with the drive by wire throttle tables but your not creating HP your just making it feel fast by making small throttle pedal movements create bigger throttle plate angle changes. This can have drivability effects. I have not changed any DBW tables so cannot really offer any more insight the tune tweaks link http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74754 |
