is 2013 pearl white same color as 2014 model?
i'm buying door panel from a 2013 BRZ for my damaged 2014 BRZ. They are obviously both white (satin pearl white) but I did a search for color codes on http://www.paintscratch.com and this is what I got.
Subaru BRZ 2013: 37J 2014: 37J/EH6 Does this mean they are different? After doing my research in the forum I heard that they are both the same, what do you guys think? :thanks: for your help. |

If you plan to paint the door, same deal -- be sure your BRZ and the paint can have the same color code. In your situation, it sounds like being completely sure of the color would be quite important; and the best way to be sure is to match the color code. (The "similar threads" section below seems to be all about different shades of white in different model years. I'll bet you find something helpful there, but I'd avoid any mention of the FR-S; some folks post stuff about their Scion in our BRZ forum, and that could lead to a serious mistake. |
The 2105+ BRZ switched to the K1X crystal white color, but 13 and 14 have the same color. You should be fine mate. Probably.

I also checked colors for 2013 and 2014 frs and they are both 37J (same website) aren't both cars made in the same factory though?

Is EH6(C) the clear coat or the code for the pearl? I just googled EH6 and it seems to pull at this site with 37J:
http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...Subaru&rows=50 Keep in mind that if you were going to spray a new panel, you would primer, base coat (white), pearl and finally clear coat. |
