Automatic v6/v8 swap?

Coworker today just gave me the idea to do a swap on my fr-s, but I'm looking to keep my car automatic.

Is there any info online regarding a swap for LS1 like this?

Is there any automatic V6 swap perhaps either?

Thanks a lot.

Note: http://shop.weaponsgradeperformance....rz-ls-swap-kit Does not offer a automatic package option.

I'll be the first to say it. A swap isn't as easy as it sounds.

And, no offense, but I'm assuming if you don't know about Turbo 400s, 4L60/4L80s, etc, you're gonna have a bad time when you realize the extent of modification required to fit them.

Also, V6, really?

The car is light enough to enjoy a V6 with a turbo. The website kit above is for ls1 and has installation package option, so the labor and work is done for.

I'm just personally an automatic ONLY kind of driver. Standards make me nauseous and personally seem out dated to me. Kind of like matches vs lighters, just not my thing.

Would love an automatic LS1 to scoot around in, no dealing with clutch and manual shifting.

My mom owned a '96(I think is correct year) z28 Camaro automatic, but I'm not a big fan of the body. Rather have a dope engine in the magnificent Fr-S

Buy this,
http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/nal-cpsls34l65e

Swap oil pan for LS2 GTO pan, get some mounts, and a few various hoses.

Done.

Enjoy!

Just buy a Camero or Genesis in auto. Problem solved.

I also want to ask why you want to spend money on an engine swap then it cost to buy a brand new FRS?

It is just a gearbox. No harder to do an Auto box than a Manual in a swap. Since the car is for my wife unit, I am doing an AOD in my swap project. Do pay attention to the gearing.

An to those that are commenting on the financial wisdom... swaps and projects are for the financially irresponsible (zero shits given) crowd. If you are not a member of that club, then you wont "get it".

Matches were invented three years after lighters

If you do v6 I'd recommend the VQ37HR from the 370z. It came with flappy paddles as well.
It's the motor I'd consider swapping as well, except for the 6mt version.
