What RPM Is Your Shift Light Indicator Set To?

It's as simple as that... what RPM is your Shift Light Indicator set to?

Mine's currently set at 7300... Just wanted to get a sense of what others have set.

Wat.

I don't set a shift indicator. My exhaust tells me when I should shift, or Rev limiter

Tectoniic 03-11-2016 11:51 AM

I set the rev limiter at 7400 just for the fact that when you set a rev limit the needle goes up to that limit on startup and I like how that looks....

Seriously. How many people actually have the shift nanny turned on?

I think OP has his warnings mixed up and doesn't realize there's a difference between the shift nanny light and the rev limiter warning. Or maybe he really thinks he should shift at 7300 all the time.

Just so we're all clear, the up arrow means go faster and the red light means it's time to think about shifting, right?

As stupid as this thread may seem, it reminded me I need to set my shift light lower, by the time it comes on (when pressing on the gas) I'm already redlining. Answer: Moar Power!
