Track Days With GPS Track Time!
 

The one thing I tell every 86 owner I meet, is 'get some tires, get some pads, and get to a track'. So, in addition to that, I figure I will also give all my midwest peeps some info on some local track days.

GPS Track Time is having some awesome track days this year, so I thought I'd give you guys the relevant info so you could sign up. GPS Track Time is an awesome group that's geared towards helping beginners get comfortable with track driving as well as providing really very reasonably priced track days for the more experienced folk. I did my first track day with them and I had a damn good time, so I really encourage everyone to sign up!

They have class and group discussion as well as an all-day instructor for people in the Novice Group! This is awesome for newbies and helps a lot in getting yourself familiar with how things work on the track. Plus, riding along with somebody better than you is honestly one of the best ways to become a better driver.

Here's the schedule they have posted:

Autobahn North Circuit, Saturday April 2:
$233- No GPS, (7)-20 Minute Sessions all Groups
+ $20 with GPS Data Acquisition and Video Option
$50 -Car Sharing


Blackhawk Farms Raceway, Monday June 27:
$165- No GPS, (7)-20 Minute Lap Sessions all Groups
+ $20 with GPS Data Acquisition and Video Option
$50 -Car Sharing


Autobahn South Circuit, Saturday September 10:
$243- No GPS, (7)-20 Minute Sessions for all Groups
+ $20 with GPS Data Acquisition and Video Option
$50 -Car Sharing

Jimmy at GPS is a great guy and the track costs are a complete DEAL. I'm doing Blackhawk Farms again this year with GPS. Can't wait!

Definitely! Jimmy is awesome and the prices are honestly the best part. Most first timers are a little put off by the bigger $300+ track days and don't realize how much seat time they actually get. The affordable price point with these guys is perfect for getting the on-the-fence guys onto the track.

I definitely want to do Blackhawk, but I might be in Texas around then so it'll be Motorsports Ranch or Eagles Canyon Raceway for me! Maybe I'll catch an open track day at Blackhawk before that though...
