If i go air on a FRS/BRZ id use Cups to retain performance, and tankless to save weight and space. Probably run a large compressor behind the gas tank.

I got a glimps of a S15 @ Tsukuba during a HPDE and it managed to be one of the top fastest cars of the day, and it was running on air suspension.

So Air for the most part is purely for looks and such...but there are ways to utilize air suspension for performance as well.
