Looking for some places to get sound deadening and insulation installed
 

Yea I know, its not that hard and much cheaper to do it myself. But I've been telling myself for a year now that I'd get around to it. Problem is finding a day when I'm free and a friend's driveway that I can borrow.

So now I'm thinking of just getting a few quotes and seeing if the extra cost would be worth it for me to just pay someone to do it for me.

Any ideas of good shops in the area that I could contact? I figure any car AV shop would probably do this but I want to see if anyone here knows a good place specifically.

A guy was posting about this not long ago, his quotes were $1500

At $80-100/hr for the labor it's gonna hurt. Just be ready for some scary quotes.

Call/visit PetrolWerks in Lindenhurst, NY (Long Island). Speak to Joe. He is a master when it comes to that stuff. No other shop will do it right, at least on Long Island. My friend is getting sound deadening installed next week there!

i am an Autotech at Best Buy in up state New York and i can tell you it is about $100 an hour for us to do that kind of work so yea be ready for some high quotes.
