Konig Hypergram F 17 R 18
 

installed konig wheels yesterday.

Front 17x9J ET40 245-40-17 camber -2

Rear 18x8.5J ET38 255-35-18 camber -1.5

lowered with bilstein B14.

Seeing the hypergrams for the first time today. It looks like Konig took a big step forward with this wheel, lightweight and better manufacturing process for improved durability and a good design too. Nice.

Hmm looks like they have decent BBK clearance. They're a strong contender for a set of good lightweight 17x9s if/when I go that route for a separate set of track wheels.

I'll try to get some more pictures of them today if I can. It needs a bath pretty bad the wheels are dirty after 3 hours of driving and a full day of autocross.

I can tell you that they're awesome wheels so far. No problems with them at all and they look outstanding. I had one that took a bit more than usual to balance out but that could have been the tire too.

I think I'm going to buy the grey ones for next next set, but I'm curious how close the konig grey is too the factory grey (i'm hoping it's different enough that it doesn't look colormatched....)

Does anybody have a guess if they will clear BBK?

Do you have a print out that I could use to check the clearance? If you can find something for me I'll pull a wheel and check.

ah unfortunately I don't. I can tell you I have the STi brembos if that helps any. I'm not sure where I would even find a print out?

Reviving an old thread here but did you need hubcentric rings to mount these? Or was the centre bore a perfect fit?

You don't "need" hubcentric rings to mount them. If you want them to be perfect, just buy the rings.
Almost no wheels except oem have center bore at an exact fit. That would limit their market to almost zero cars. It's safe to say they aren't hubcentric.

swarb: i know, that lugcentric wheel is centered and mounted strong enough with tighening centering lugnuts .. but after experienced scare case of non retightened after while driving lugnuts getting undone a bit (i know, own lazyness & forgetfulness to blame), i'd prefer to have some extra ensurance for piece of heart. Have naive hope that if something like that happens again, i'll be able to notice with less chance of something major breaking. With larger center hole and non tightened lugnuts, won't studs break off due extra play after few wheel rotations? Also isn't it simpler to do first turns of lugnuts on wheel change/unmount, while wheel is still on ground? What will happen if trying to do that w/o centering ring on wheel with non native hole bore?
