anyone have experience with duraflex body kits?
thinking about buying either the TRD aero kit or RBV1 lip and side skirts. dunno about replicas tho. do they have any fitment issues?
|
I've heard reps fit bad. I've also heard originals fit bad. And I've heard both fit fine. So... there is a better chance the originals will fit fine but I'd bet on fussing with it just to be safe. I'd get the cheaper option unless you have a problem with replica parts(which it seems you don't) or the original was affordable. Some of these things have pretty crazy price tags that I can only assume is paying for the name *cough* TRD *cough*

You have an RS2.0? I'd hold off on hacking the fenders up and installing a non-factory kit on the car. But that's just my opinion.
Either way you go with widebody, be prepared to spend the time or the money with making things fit proper. |
@Cole Yeah rs2.0 but I won't be going wide body. Just the front lip n side skirts.

You'll have less problems fitting lips and side skirts if they're replicas, but they could still be deformed. Ultimately, it all comes down to how much effort you want to put in to making something fit. |
@Cole ic. Thanks for advice. Guess I'll go real thing. Maybe keep the oem lip and just get side skirts
