Will this work for changing my wheels?
 

Hello, yes I am a noob...but I'm trying!

I just want to know if this setup will work to put on my new wheels. I have two set of oem wheels, and I'm changing from my winters. I just want to know if this socket and torque wrench will be good..will I also need an extension, since the socket is deep? Thanks!

You shouldn't need an extension, but it might make it more comfortable to have one.

Also get a breaker bar or a tire iron to remove the lugs. You don't want to use the torque wrench to remove the lugs.

Is something wrong with the tools in your trunk?
All I have is the scissor jack that came with the car, the speed handle for the scissor jack, and a 4 way tire iron I bought. All zip tied together, to my spare. And j use this setup quite a bit to swap out wheels. Doesn't bother me one bit. But then again I did this in Japan all the time on the mountains.
Not tryin to be a **** at all, just letting you know all the tools you need are in your trunk, except for the torque wrench of coarse

Thanks for the responses guys, guessing I'm good? My main concern was the socket.

I am not using the torque wrench for removing the wheels, I bought a tire iron for that.

The tools in my trunk are fine, my post only asks if the socket and torque wrench will work. I am just trying to torque them down to spec, and need a proper socket to do so, as my regular 19mm socket doesn't fit in, so I'm looking at that deep one.
