Winjet/Morimoto HID Adjustment Issue
2 Attachment(s)
I am adjusting my new headlight setup and having a bad time getting my driver's side to have a clean cutoff like my passenger's side.
My driver's side seems to have a slight curve upward from the middle. I have tried adjusting both up/down and left/right screw adjustments with no luck. Some research indicates I may need to 'rotate' it slightly but how? My first inquiry to FTeightysix yielded the response: "There are two adjustments in the back of the headlight. One will rotate the light, the other adjusts the light. " I think that is wrong, but maybe I missed a third adjust screw.. anyone able to help me out? I've attached two pics. - Thank! |
I am having the same issue. When driving the top of my lights cut off in the middle of the road. Very hard to see lol. Here for the comments

did you retrofit your Winjets? There is usually no rotate option for headlights. the bowing looks like a spacing issue in the projector lens. there is really no real way to deal with it unless you bake the headlights and adjust the spacing of the actual lens until there is no more bowing.
if you look at your cutoff, before the step it is still straight. it just bows up after the step, which rotating will not help at all |
It's not a retrofit, only switched out the bulb for an HID bulb and installed the ballast and relay harness.
The left side of the driver's beam has a slight curve upwards as well. |
try reseating your bulb.

I'll try re-seating, if I can't get to them while installed I'll have to wait till this weekend.

I beleive the 2nd dial rotates them medially and laterally.. Meaning it turns them left and right.
