Looking to see a Red and Blue BRZ
Hey guys.
So I'm looking to buy a FRS/BRZ at some point in the near future. =D I'm currently set on a used Limited BRZ for the added amenities. One of the last thing's I need to choose for options of the car is the color I want it in. This is where my request comes in. My three colors I've narrowed down to are Dark Grey, Red, and Blue in no particular order of preference. I've already gotten the chance to see a Dark Grey one in person and liked it. Although red is my favorite color, I'm skeptical about how it'll look in person and if it gets washed out over time. Blue, well...it's WRB on a Subaru. It'll look great but I still want to see it on the BRZ. Anyway, when the time comes that I can purchase one (May/June,) if I have the option to choose between colors, I'd like to be reasonably sure about the one I pick and not have regrets about seeing the others. If you live in the Upstate NY area, or within maybe 200 miles of it (meet half way,) I would love to see your Red or Blue BRZ just to see how the color is in person. Thanks! |
There will most def be some FRS/BRZ meets soon. The weather is about to get a lot better in terms of temperature. You should go to a meet in NYC or if you're willing to you can come to NJ.
I have a Pearl white BRZ. I absolutely love it. |
Thanks for the response man. I'll keep my eye open on this forum for some nearby meets. I'm from NYC and it'd be a nice excuse to go back home for the weekend.

Are you also aware the new WRB is darker than the earlier generation of BRZs? They are still nice though. I have 2013 WRB BRZ, and plan on going up to Rochester towards mid/end May when a few of my friends graduate. Now you said upstate.. are you in Syracuse, Rochester, or Buffalo? Upstate could mean a few different locations..

But you could also go to a nearby dealer if they have wrb. WRB is definitely nice. I originally wanted SWP but after seeing the color side by side I had to get WRB.

Thanks for the response, I'm over in Albany.
I wasn't aware that the new WRB is darker than the old ones. Maybe I should find an old WRB Subaru model for sale around here and see that color? I'm starting to think I should just head over to the dealer and just see the colors there. I would assume the LR that they have there would be the same color as the BRZ, correct? |
Why wouldn't you just go to a dealer and look at everything they have? That seems a lot easier than trying to schedule meetings with strangers from the internet.

It's looking like that's what I'm going to do. Honestly, it's because I wanted to see the colors on the BRZ and thought if there were people in the area, why go see it on another car when I could see it on the one.
