FS: Porsche Cayman S MT 86xxx miles - SOCAL
What happens when you take a boxer engine, add two more cylinders and put it right behind you? You get the most beautiful combination of power and handling.
Up for sale is my 2006 Porsche Cayman S in Artic Silver. It currently has 86xxx miles and will go up as it is my daily driver. I came from an FRS into this car and as soon as I get in this car I realized this is what the FRS was meant to be. I would say the FRS is 70% of this car. I was originally looking into getting a turbo or supercharged Brz/Frs but I knew it would become a headache later down the road with the car depending on the tune so I looked into a Cayman S as it had the same hp range. The power is absolutely amazing in this car pushing out 300 horses of pure fun. And the way it delivers is with utmost smoothness. The way the engine sounds is intoxicating urging to keep pushing it. It feels like it never runs out of breath. The engine sounds like an exotic car when you push it near the top end. The occasionally backfire when downshifting is absolute bliss. All the while you hear the engine just roaring behind you. This car is THE best handling car you can get for the money. It is truly a mid engined beauty. The car is technically a one owner car as I just recently bought it from someone at 85k miles. I have only put 1000 miles on it since then. I'm only selling due to financial circumstances. The car is in a great condition and you can feel that it has been well taken care of. I test drove other Caymans when searching for a car and you can tell whether a car has been beaten or not. I just recently installed a custom made steering wheel with Napa leather, racing stripe, and silver stitching that matches the stitching in the car. It makes driving the car much more enjoyable as the OEM steering wheel felt thin for me. If you look around it's easily around $1000 in value. The car also includes iPod/aux cord integration. If you know anything about older cars with a MOST (fiber optic) sound system it can be a b*tch to install an aux cord in it. You would have to replace the head unit with an aftermarket head unit and amp. It comes with a NAV-TV OPI-P iPod system which is $500 in value. It's equipped with "Lobster Forks", the lightest 19" Porsche Wheels manufactured by BBS. The packages on the car include memory/automatic seats, Bose audio system, heated seats, Xenon headlights, front bumper clear bra, white LED side markers (not pictured) and an updated key fob. Current mileage: 86xxx MANUAL transmission I'm currently asking for 22,500 or any reasonable offers. The car is located in SoCal Los Angeles area. Shoot me a text message at 909 919 3579 if you're interested or have any questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my post! God bless. |

Why is there a photo of your interior that shows a right-hand-drive car? Just curious....

Looking back at the description, I think it's a picture just showing the type of steering wheel he installed. I had a 2006 Cayman S, was an awesome car. |
Hehehe, yeah that's most likely it. Just wanted to give him a hard time ;)

I'm interested only if it's RHD!
