So true. I was such a noob when I started. I used to be scared of you OGs.

Also true. I had a brilliant night's sleep on that bed.
And Ichi is right, the ramen is indeed a staple. I work full time in addition to school full time, and every penny goes into mods and cars. Plus I've made some decent returns over the years buying, fixing, and selling cars, which in turn led to buying even better cars and selling those on, etc.
It wasn't but a few years ago that I picked up a 1994 TT 6-Speed Supra for 15k. It had 250k miles on it, and it needed some loving, but it wasn't hard work by any means. Ended up Single Turbo-ing that car, cleaned it up and sold it for ~24k if I remember correctly. The car was a blast to drive and I made good profit on it. Wheeler Dealer-ing is doable for anyone with a little time, a little know how, and a passion for cars.
Save up a little money, go on Craigslist, and find a project. Hang out with your buds on the driveway, make some memories, fix up the car, and sell it on. Rinse and repeat. I've made some of my closest friends through backyard wrenching days and I've made some money to boot!
