Whiteline KTA216 Adj. Rear Lower Control Arm on backorder until 04/01

I'm redoing my suspension set up with Whiteline parts and after trying to order from 4 different dealers on eBay and getting my money refunded, I find out they are on backorder until 04/01.

So, I put an order through with my local TF-Works and they will give me a call if they can get it before then, but they have one ordered for me.

I hear the SPC one's are good too, but I already have all the other Whiteline parts ready to go.

Just a heads up, if you're looking for this piece, put your order in now before they 04/01 orders go on backorder again.

I wonder what happened to their old, gold LCA's? I personally thought they looked better and would gladly pay for them compared to their current LCA's.

YES.

...meh?

The gold ones are HEAVY. One of those seems to weigh as much as both of my Velox LCAs, lol.

I'm pretty sure you could hit a tank sideways at 100 MPH, and those gold ones wouldn't even bat an eye.

apparently there was some problems with their manufacturing plant or something so they switched to the rebranded SPC ones... with that said, I loved the look of the gold LCA's and I had to snatch a used one up when I saw one for sale. the new whiteline ones... ehhhh not my favorite

I am not saying these are going to blow up or cause the universe to implode BUT I think they look like crap. If someone were carrying those past my car I would have my car exorcised.

Did you get the car exercised when you bought it? Because that's pretty much what the OEM LCAs look like, lol...

I said "exorcised".
If one is going to the trouble and expense of getting aftermarket parts I would expect one is going to get better than oem.

I went with the black SPC (rebranded as Eibach btw), because I NEED them to look OEM. In some countries such parts need to be approved to stay road legal.

The SPC arm are also better than OEM, because they are camber adjustable. I would have been perfectly happy with OEM if it had been adjustable. :)

Yeah, that was my phone's autocorrect trying to be smart.

OEM might be just fine for some people who just need an adjustable version to mess around with camber. Arguably, in the weight department, the gold whiteline arm could be considered WORSE than the factory part, though it obviously has other improvements like adjustable endlink points and such.

Nothing wrong with the OEM design, though, is what I'm trying to say. You make it sound like the OEM part is a disaster waiting to happen.

I'd rather have the Eibach re-brands than the original Whiteline parts. The Eibachs look like they'd break before they transferred too much energy to the sub-frame and subsequently bent something expensive.

Totally, 99% agree except that they look like crap lol.

Yeah I'm not saying they don't look pretty lame. Just didn't want people thinking that the design was going to implode the universe as soon as they ran over an amoeba!

It's an effing control arm - who cares what it looks like? :D
