86/BRZ stamp with you name.

This is more of survey. Pass yr, this shop have been helping us (specially me) and making cool stamps.

Like this one from last year's 86EXPO

& just few days ago, sending me this photo of my name (last & first) with BRZ on it.
https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...04&oe=576EAFFE

Even the famous Moto-san from Club4AG have one.

I'm not trying to make you guys jealous showing off cool swags. I'm cold blooded, but not THAT cold. lol

He does more than 86 & BRZ like you can see.

Price is bout $35~$50 (I'm not 100% sure on the price ATM). Big one, it's full custom, so I'm not sure the price or the shop will even do it.

He is thinking of distributing/selling in US... but not sure it's worth it or not. This is where you guys vote. Is it worth for you guys? Or not worth it? IDC if all of you say "no". I'm just trying to bring more cool swag from Japan, but if you think, it's lame, I'll let the shop owner know.

If you can vote to help him out.

Thanks

ichi

That's pretty cool.
I work in a small shop where we specialize in the FRS and BRZ. I have a BRZ and my boss an FRS.

It would be cool if we each stamped invoices we completed with our respective stamps. At least if something came back we could quickly know who completed the invoice, and our customers who own twins would love it.

However, at $50 USD we're talking nearly $70 CAD. That's a lot of money for a stamp.

Did you ever see something handmade from beautiful materials that gave you butterflies in your gut? That's what an artwork can do to you -- I'm sure you have had that feeling before -- but it has to reach in and whisper to your heart. Sure, $70 is a lot of money for a stamp, but maybe it's not really just a stamp?

That was beautiful.

This stamp is beautiful.

Life is beautiful.

Some just simple stamp, for some limited personal stamp.

In Japan, inkan (stamp) is used often due to require by law. So bank, marriage, contracts/form, or even receiving package, you need it, so having your unique inkan is cool to have & show it off... but in US, it's just cool swag.

I think it's cool. I'll never be able to use it, but something to keep it as part of my collection for BRZ.

...but that's just me.

Like I said in my original post, I think it's really cool.
Just at that cost I could buy two tanks of gas or a car part.

If it was in the $20-$30 range I'd actually think about it. However, I realize that's incredibly unlikely.

I don't think my name would translate well into Kanji...

LOL I see your point & totally understand that. But the dilemma can be said the same with... say eating out. We can easily spent that much eating out. Specially if you buy it for your love one as well. lol

Japanese price is 3,500yen (just say 1yen = 1cent) that's still $35, that exclude shipping & other fees... so it might be <$50 IDK

But thanks for the feedback. I'm just getting feedback from you guys to forwarded to him.

I wondering if he can do it in alphabets...

it may be worth it to asian like Chinese, Korean, Japanese since we have two different names for USA and for own country.
i dont know it would look funky if i use my english name on that stamp. usually signature doesnt work in Asian country unless it is official stamp on important document

go_a_way1 02-25-2016 04:39 PM

I really like the idea, but honestly I haven't used a stamp since I was 6, so I will have to say its a no go for me but I do like the idea lot.

jaime3 02-25-2016 04:42 PM

how can i get one?
