86/BRZ stamp with you name.

This is more of survey. Pass yr, this shop have been helping us (specially me) and making cool stamps.

Like this one from last year's 86EXPO

& just few days ago, sending me this photo of my name (last & first) with BRZ on it.

Even the famous Moto-san from Club4AG have one.

I'm not trying to make you guys jealous showing off cool swags. I'm cold blooded, but not THAT cold. lol

He does more than 86 & BRZ like you can see.

Price is bout $35~$50 (I'm not 100% sure on the price ATM). Big one, it's full custom, so I'm not sure the price or the shop will even do it.

He is thinking of distributing/selling in US... but not sure it's worth it or not. This is where you guys vote. Is it worth for you guys? Or not worth it? IDC if all of you say "no". I'm just trying to bring more cool swag from Japan, but if you think, it's lame, I'll let the shop owner know.

If you can vote to help him out.

Thanks

ichi

Definitely a Japanese thing. Cool on invoices for tuner shops or other businesses.

Is it done via CNC?

Whether or not demand is widespread with the general public, it's definitely not lame.

Is it cool? I think so. Would I use it? No. I don't have a use for a stamp, but they look pretty awesome.

We make a lot of personalized stamps as part of my job, usually the design is printed on a clear film using black ink, and sent in an exposure unit which gets the design on the rubber. Its pretty easy and cheap once you have all the equipment, the most expensive part is where you get your actual stampers

Japanese people use those stamps like we use a signature, correct? At least that's what I've seen on television, where people "sign" for packages using their stamp. Americans don't ever really have an opportunity to use a stamp that way. If I bought one and tried to stamp something with it, it wouldn't be accepted as my signature, and I would still have to sign.

I wish I had a reason to need one, because it's pretty cool (and definitely not lame). But it would end up in a drawer and never be used.

Correct, Japan & few other Asian country do use inkan (stamp). Example, when you go to bank to cash out of your account, you need it. When you getting married, you need. When you even receiving the package, you need inkan & signature/print name. 90% of where you would just sign, they need inkan & signature.

This have been the question for him. I told him that, in US, we don't use inkan here at all. It's cool swag to have for sure... but is there enough interest to have business? IDK, this is why instead of me answer for him, I let the member decide.

Still in school, I'd have no reason to have a insignia stamp. I suppose I could stamp all my homework. That'd be fun for them the first time.. not so much the 10th

This thread seems rather familiar.....

(insert off topic meme about being familiar here)

I'd love to have one with Miyuki on it.

86/BRZ stamp with you name.

American don't use this... Sooo.... It's pretty useless unless they live in Asia ... Then you need one for almost everything from bank to business to a lot of minor things in every day life.

I don't think you can even take money out from bank without one. (If it's Over atm daily limit)
